We spent a week in Delaware between cruises (sorry to anyone we didn’t get a chance to catch up with). Spend 3 days in Laurel with my sister and her husband (thanks for putting up with us!), getting things washed and swapping clothes and “stuff” from the storage unit down there. That was a busy few days and I appreciate everything they are doing for us. Then we spent 3 days with friends in Bear (thanks for the hospitality and putting up with us!). Graham had a chance to get 3 appts in with his chiropractor (back acted up on the ship and thought we were over before we had really gotten started). Hopefully, his back will be ok for the next leg of our journey but I imagine we will have to deal with it again at some point. One day at a time….
Today (4/2/23) we are in Ft. Lauderdale Marina Hilton in preparation for tomorrows cruise through he Panama Canal to Los Angeles. We were upgraded to a balcony cabin for a smallish cost and we think it will be well worth it after traveling in inside cabins this whole time. We have never been to any of these ports before so we intend to get off the ship and do some excursions. Looking forward to going through the locks as well. There will be quite a bit more to post about and crossing our fingers the wifi is better on this ship and we can post more pictures.
Have a fantastic time!!! The locks are very impressive!!! Early wake up😊
