Sorry, we haven’t posted in several days. There was nothing much to say about being isolated for six days except that Graham took very good care of me, and they were serious about staying in your cabin. They called three times a day to see if I needed anything, find out how I was feeling, and ensure I was in my cabin. One day I was in the bathroom and didn’t get to the phone fast enough, and an officer showed up at our door almost immediately. This was I’m sure to make sure I wasn’t dead or dying inside my cabin and to make sure I wasn’t roaming the ship.
Enjoying the ports we had left. We are in Phillipsburg, St. Maarten, today. Not getting off the ship, though. We really enjoy it when everyone else gets off and we have been here before.
Glad to hear you have fully recovered, isn’t it curious that one partner can get it but the other doesn’t? It happened to Lynn and me.
Hopefully plain sailing from now on. Enjoy yourselves.
By te way does Graham still require at least 12 hours in bed a day when at sea? just like he did in the Navy??
Funny, just 10 hours these days. 😂 I blame you and Lynn for keeping me up into the wee hours with a can in my hand at your old flat!
John, you still know him very well! Looking forward to seeing you and Lynn again in our travels. Hope we can connect. I’m sure there are stories I haven’t heard from Graham that are entertaining 🙂
